Title: Pixel!FX startup results in 'Bus Error'

Date: April 21, 1995

Problem:

Upon startup of Pixel!FX a message appears - 'bus error - segmentation violation' and then Pixel!FX quits.

Cause:

This is a problem in Pixel!FX release 3.0-019 to 3.0-025.

Solution:

  1. Install the scanner first. Use the Setup routine to install the scanner before running Pixel!FX.
  2. Run Pixel!FX.
